The Challenge

Background

The company's website served as its digital front door, making it the central focus of the redesign process. With over 25 years of experience in fintech, it was essential to modernize the site while preserving its recognizable identity. The challenge was to create a refreshed, visually compelling platform that aligned with the company’s evolving brand image—one that felt contemporary and innovative, yet still familiar to long-time clients and partners.

Goals

The primary objective of this project was to bring the company’s website into the modern era. The outdated design no longer reflected the company’s vision, so the goal was to create something fresh, distinctive, and engaging—breaking away from the typical look of fintech websites while maintaining a sense of trust and professionalism. Additionally, a key priority was ensuring seamless integration of all web applications used by clients, making the new site not just visually appealing, but also highly functional and efficient.

Constraints

One of the biggest challenges of this project was untangling the years of accumulated content—outdated information, mismatched graphics, and an overall poor user experience caused by multiple contributors over time. There was no clear vision for the redesign, which meant extensive research was required to define the right direction. On top of that, the timeline was tight, as other projects were queued up, making efficient time management a top priority. Balancing these constraints while ensuring a cohesive, high-quality final product was key to the project’s success.

The Approach

Research

Thorough market research and competitor analysis were essential to this project. The website needed to stay up to date with the latest trends and information in the fintech world while preserving the brand’s originality. A key challenge was striking the right balance—ensuring the site had all the necessary details without blending into the sea of typical fintech websites. Inspiration was gathered primarily in-house, working closely with the CEO and revisiting past projects to find a direction that felt both fresh and true to the company’s legacy.

Design Process

The design process began with a deep dive into the existing content—sorting through outdated information, identifying what was still relevant, and adding new content where necessary. Once the content was streamlined, the next step was structuring a user-friendly sitemap that balanced intuitiveness with a modern feel. With the foundation set, the project moved into Figma, where the design took shape through multiple iterations, refining every detail to ensure clarity and cohesion. After final approval, the final step was bringing the design to life in Webflow, developing the site and seamlessly integrating all the essential web applications.

Tools Used

The core tools for this project were Figma for design and prototyping, Webflow for development and deployment, and Adobe Illustrator for creating graphical elements. Each tool played a crucial role in ensuring the website was both visually compelling and functionally seamless.

Client Feedback

Working with Nemanja on our website redesign was a game-changer for our company. Our old site was outdated, cluttered, and didn’t reflect the modern image we wanted to present. He took the time to thoroughly research our industry, competitors, and brand history to create a website that feels fresh, intuitive, and professional while standing out in the fintech space.

The entire process—from refining the sitemap and streamlining UX to integrating our web apps and finalizing the design in Webflow—was handled with incredible attention to detail. Despite a tight timeline and complex information architecture, he managed everything seamlessly, collaborating closely with our team to ensure accuracy and clarity.

The final result is a clean, bold, and user-friendly website that truly represents our company today. His expertise, efficiency, and dedication made all the difference, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
